Glen Innes School is at the CPF-RED settings. School is OPEN for on site learning with public health measures in place
The Red setting protocols include:
All parents, caregivers, whānau, and other visitors are required to wear face coverings indoors and encouraged to do so when on site.
All ākonga (students) Years 4 and up must wear face coverings indoors and when in close contact with others.
All ākonga aged 12 and up must wear face coverings on public transport and school transport.
You do not need to wear a face covering when at special interest education, such as music lessons, art groups and girl guides although we strongly encourage you to.
Students are encouraged to practice safe physical distancing from each other.
All students are reminded to continue hand washing and sanitising.
If you have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, stay home and get a test.
Students 5 years and older are encouraged to be vaccinated with their free COVID-19 vaccination now. You can book your vaccination online or by phone. Book your free vaccination here or go through your nearest drive-through vaccination centre.

Term 2 starts tomorrow, 15 April 2020. We start Term 2 still in lockdown, This means:
School is still closed, and no one is permitted to enter.
Your child is still learning in his/her bubble at home.
The teachers continue to support children through their class sites, email and Google meeting.
